Recipes - Prawn Farfalle

1 kg Prawns
2 cups farfalle pasta
Half cup unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, crushed
3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and ground black pepper

If using fresh pasta, cook in lightly salted briskly boiling water for 3 minutes.

For packet pasta, cook according to instructions

Peel and devein prawns. Melt butter in a large heavy pan with the garlic and parsley. Toss in the prawns and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes until prawns have turned pink. If you are using cooked prawns, 4 minutes will be sufficient.
Drain the pasta thoroughly and rinse with boiling water to remove any starch.
Stir the pasta into the prawn mixture, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
